Terms of Service
Version 2026-06-23.
These Terms govern your use of Praxis. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them, and to our Data Processing Agreement and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Praxis.
Who we are
Praxis is a performance and finances dashboard for UK associate dentists, operated by Praxis Health Technologies Ltd, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 17294974, with its registered office at 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom (“Praxis”, “we”, “us”). You can contact us at info@praxisdental.co.uk.
Beta service
Praxis is currently in private beta. The service is provided to help you track and grow your numbers, and is offered on an evolving, “as is” basis. Features may change, be added or be removed, and the service may occasionally be unavailable while we develop it. Figures shown in Praxis are intended to help you understand your performance and plan ahead, they are not financial, tax or accounting advice, and you remain responsible for your own tax affairs and for verifying figures against your statements and your accountant.
Your account
You must give accurate registration details and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be a dental professional (or a member of a practice team a dentist has invited) and at least 18 years old. Tell us promptly at info@praxisdental.co.uk if you suspect unauthorised use.
Connecting your practice
Where you connect a practice’s Dentally account, you confirm you are authorised to do so and to instruct us to process the resulting data on your behalf. Praxis connects using a read-only token and never writes back to your practice system. Our handling of that data is governed by the Data Processing Agreement, which forms part of these Terms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
• use Praxis for anything unlawful, or to access data you are not authorised to see; • attempt to access another user’s account or data, or to defeat the access controls or data isolation; • probe, scan or test the security of the service without our written permission; • copy, resell, sublicense or reverse-engineer the service; • upload malware, scrape the service with automated tools, or place an unreasonable load on it; or • misuse the AI features (for example to generate unlawful or misleading content).
You must only put data into Praxis that you are entitled to, and you must not enter patient names or other patient identifiers, Praxis is built to hold only Patient IDs.
Fees
During the private beta, paid plans may be discounted, waived or granted on a free / Friends & Family basis. Where fees apply, they are shown before you subscribe and are payable in advance for the billing period. We’ll give reasonable notice of any change to pricing.
Intellectual property
We own the Praxis service, software and brand. You keep ownership of the data you put in. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and display that data so we can provide the service to you (and, where you connect a practice, to act as your processor under the DPA).
No warranty (beta)
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Praxis is provided “as is” and “as available” during beta, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for keeping your own records and for checking important figures against source documents.
Limitation of liability
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud). Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or loss or corruption of data; and our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or £100. Praxis is a decision-support tool, not a system of record, your practice’s Dentally account remains the system of record.
Suspension and termination
You may stop using Praxis and delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or to protect the security of the service or other users. On termination, the data-handling and deletion rules in the DPA and Privacy Policy apply.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the product evolves. When we do, we’ll change the version above and ask you to accept the updated Terms (and DPA) the next time you sign in. Continuing to use Praxis after accepting means you agree to the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and the courts of England & Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you may also have rights to bring proceedings where you are based if local law requires.
