Your earnings, your patients and your performance in one place, built for UK associate dentists, hygienists and therapists.
The problem
I cannot see my own numbers.
Everything lives in the practice's management system, and the practice owns it. You have no view of your own performance.
My finances are a monthly headache.
Income from several practices, lab fees, indemnity, training costs, all wrestled together in a spreadsheet.
Patients slip through the gaps.
Who did not come back after an exam? Which treatment plans stalled? Nobody is tracking it for you.
Praxis was built to fix exactly this. See how it works
Praxis is purpose-built for the clinician. Not the practice. Not the principal. You.
New patients, who rebooked and who did not, whose routine exam is due, and where chair time went. Praxis reads your practice diary through a read-only Dentally connection, so the figures are about your work rather than the whole site.
Every practice you work at in one set of figures: pay statements from practices on Praxis, statements you import from the ones that are not, and a live estimate from your own Dentally key. Lab fees and expenses by category with receipts, a running guide to the tax to set aside, and a one-click CSV for your accountant.
Upload a certificate as a PDF, a photo, a Word file or plain text and Praxis reads the course, the date, the hours and the development outcomes off it. Your record, your hours to date, and an export when you need to show it.
Every patient you saw with no future appointment booked, everyone whose routine exam is due, and a Potential Leads list for treatment somebody said they might want. Tag them, work the list, and see every change that has ever been made to a patient's follow-up.
Your rebooking rate with a tap through to the patients behind it, and lost appointments from cancellations and short-notice failures, with the ones the practice itself caused left out so the figure is about your book. Colour-coded statuses shared with the practice team on Praxis.
For a patient who needs chasing, Praxis writes a short prep note: what to raise, what to flag, how to open the conversation. Part of Praxis AI, so it counts against your monthly AI allowance.
Built by an associate, for associates.
Create your accountWhere Praxis is up to
Praxis is live and running real month-ends. Sign-up is open.
There is no billing in Praxis. No card, no plan, no credits, and no price has been set. If that changes it will be said plainly, in advance, and never by surprise.
Create your account with your GDC number, by emailed link or with Google, and you are in straight away. Praxis AI, the clinical notes, letters and call prep, is included during the beta with a monthly AI allowance.
Support and a suggestions board are built into Praxis, and what gets voted for gets built. Praxis is made by a working associate, and the beta is where it gets sharpened around real practice life.
Patient data is sensitive. Praxis was designed around that from day one.
The database and document storage are hosted by Supabase in an EU region and the application by Vercel in an EU region. A small number of named providers, such as our AI and email services, process limited data under contractual safeguards. Every one of them is listed in the Privacy Policy, not summarised away.
Your finances, CPD and clinical tools are read with your user id on every single query, and that lock is checked mechanically on every call rather than trusted. The database itself denies all access by default on every table, as a second line behind the first.
The read-only key you give Praxis is sealed with AES-256-GCM before it is stored, so it is not readable from the database or from a backup. Praxis opens it to run your sync and never shows it back to anyone, and disconnecting a practice deletes it outright.
Your patient lists, follow-ups and diary hold the Dentally Patient ID, not the name, phone number or address. Names can be shown from Dentally while the page is open and are never saved. Consultation transcripts are kept for 30 days, encrypted, visible only to you.
There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of any kind, only the cookies Praxis needs to work, such as the one that keeps you signed in. The AI providers Praxis uses do not train their models on anything sent to them.
Praxis talks to Dentally through its own API with a token you issue, and only ever reads. Nothing is written back to your practice software, nothing is copied off a screen, and no password is shared.

For practice managers and principals
Praxis gives your clinicians their own numbers without putting your patient data or your practice at risk. Here are the questions managers ask most, answered plainly.
A clinician's area of Praxis stores the Dentally Patient ID, not names, phone numbers, emails or addresses, and has no export of a patient list. Names can be shown from Dentally while a page is open and are never saved by Praxis.
It is built GDPR-first, hosted in the EU, and the connection to Dentally is strictly read-only, so Praxis never writes anything back. Praxis Health Technologies Ltd is registered with the ICO. The Privacy Policy, the Terms and the data processing agreement are all published on this site and linked below, in full rather than on request.
No. Each clinician's own area is scoped to their user id on every query, and that is enforced mechanically at every call site rather than hidden in the interface. Where your practice runs its pay on Praxis, your managers see your own clinicians' figures because that is what running a pay statement is; who may see which part of it is set by role, and reception never sees a share or a net.
A clinician's own connection reads their own appointments and their own performance through their own read-only token, and nothing else is pulled or kept. Where the practice itself connects Dentally, that connection belongs to the practice and serves the practice's own pay run.
Accounts are created by you, for your practice, and every screen is gated by a single role matrix rather than by hiding links. Two-factor sign-in is available, a device can be trusted for a set period without weakening the password, and signing out everywhere takes one press. Every change worth questioning is written to an audit log with who did it.
They disconnect the practice, and that deletes the Dentally key, the site, the practitioner record and every estimate built from it. Their statements and their own diary history stay with them, because those are the record of work they did. Your patients were never in there to leave with them.
Praxis is designed for the clinician, but a practice running its pay on it stops doing three jobs by hand.
At a practice on Praxis the follow-up list is shared with the practice team, with colour-coded statuses and a full history of every change. The front desk and the clinician work the same list rather than two.
A pay statement is worked out, sent to the clinician, queried or approved, and finalised, with the contract terms snapshotted at the moment it is signed off. A finalised statement cannot be quietly edited afterwards.
Lab bills and component invoices are read, matched to a dentist and confirmed by a person, with the receipt attached. Every allocation, approval and adjustment is in the audit log with a name against it.
Want to see it before you decide?
Happy to walk you and your principal through exactly how the data is handled, with no obligation.

The story behind Praxis
Praxis was built by Dr Syed Ali, a UK associate dentist working across several practices. Like most associates, he could not see his own numbers: earnings scattered between practices, follow-ups nobody was tracking, and tax a yearly surprise.
Syed worked in tech roles whilst juggling dental school, and built software products alongside his training. In 2022 he stepped away from tech to focus fully on dentistry, from restorative care through to implant surgery.
Praxis brings the two together: a dentist's understanding of the job, built with a developer's care. Syed still works clinically every week, which is why Praxis fits the way associates actually work. When something in Praxis saves you an evening of spreadsheets, it is because it first saved him one.
